boys school

            For my project that I had to do of a school house for 12 students I did a model that I thought would be a good idea. my idea was of making a house school that would be confortable for the boys that would stay there. Another idea was to make a back yard for it too so they can have fun outside not only staying inside the whole time. I desided that the rooms had to be separated from other rooms so that the boys could have their privasy. There are two bathrooms, one inside and one outside. One Problem that I had is that I forgot that they needed a kitchen, so I didnt put one in.

short project

        Today in class we were working on our short project. I made a model for my short project. At first i was having trouble on getting an idea for my memorable stairs building. Then i had and idea of making a house and making stairs so that they can go up to the roof and relax, read, eat outside of the house instead of inside. I thought this because i thought that the house would look better with like a balcony on the roof.  when you get out of the building from the back door on the sides there are stairs so that you can go up to the balcony on top of the stairs. I believe that this stairs would be memorable because you don't see this kind of stairs.

thermal baths, vals

    The Thermal baths is in Switzerland. The architect of this project was Peter Zumthor. This building was built between the years of 1993- 1996. It is like its an under building. half of the building we can see it but the other half of the building is under like a cave. Inside is really dark. There is grass on top of the building. There are two pools in the building. one is indoor pool and the other one is outer pool.
     I think that this building is really cool.  I like how there are colors to tell you the temperature of the water. I also like that it was made only to relax, so there is no big clock. There are only two poles that have a little clock.    

 The Absolute world tower is one of the best new skyscrapers in the world. This building was started in 2010 and it was finished on 2012.  This twin towers are residential condominium. the architect that designed this building was Burka Architects and MAD studio. Building is in Mississauga, Ontario.
There are two towers but one is shorter than the other one. I really like this building because of the shape of it. It looks different from the others around it. I also like the inside of the building. i would live there it is really nice since it is recently made.  

luis barragan

       Luis Barragan was a really good designer. He was born in Mexico. He was born in  1902 and died in 1988. When he died he was 86 years old. First he was an engineer and then he became an architect as well. He uses a lot of different colors in the buildings that he made.
         For me the buildings that Luis Barragan made are really beautiful because he puts different types of colors. I also like how he uses water inside of the house. I really like his house that he made. The house looks beautiful because of the colors. His house looks so simple because of how it looks and the structure.

      The Namausus 1 in Nimes, France is a very interesting building. This building was designed by architect Jean Nouvel. It has not alot of color. The only color that it has is gray. 

      For me if this building would have color, it would look better than how it is. I don't like how the walls from the inside are. They don't let people decorate the building from the inside, so it would look better. i like how it has alot of space in the inide.  

        This post is about the Georges Pompadou center in Paris, France. This building was designed by an Italian architect Renzo Piano and British architect Richard Rogers. The structural system of this building are steel superstructure with reinforced concrete floors.
         For me this building is not beautiful because it looks like is not finished yet.It seems that it still needs a lot of work to be finished. I like how it has different colors, it makes it pop out from the rest of the other buildings around it. I think that it would look way better if it had walls around the steel and tubes from the building. I think that the inside of the building is cool. I also like the stairs that you can see through.
         There are persons that say that they don't like the building because of how it looks.
